Sky Claim Two Deals Are Close As Spurs Announce A Loan Departure

|

With some expectation that Cameron Carter-Vickers would be heading out of Tottenham Hotspur on another loan deal now we find ourselves deep into deadline day, Spurs have now confirmed that the youngster will gain further experience out at Stoke City in the 2019/20 campaign.

The 21-year-old US international defender has made four appearances for Spurs, but the bulk of his first team game time has come from loan spells out with Sheffield United, Ipswich Town and most recently, Swansea City.

He heads to the Potteries for the rest of the campaign and he’ll be looking for significant game time under Nathan Jones who will be hoping to have a good run at promotion in the Championship this season.

Reacting to the news on social media, plenty of fans again wished him well as he headed off for a new experience, but a number couldn’t help but mention Paulo Dybala given today’s developments and you can see that reaction above on the Tweet.

Sky Sports News (3.09pm) are also now reporting that Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon are now close to the formalities of completing their deals, so the nonsense isn’t over yet despite us being into the final two hours of the window.
